Russia Allegedly Intercepts European Military Communications with Space 'Spies'

Russia is allegedly intercepting European military communications using space satellites, according to a report by The Conversation. Two Russian satellites, Luch/Olymp‑K 1 and Luch/Olymp‑K 2, are approaching European communication satellites, such as those of Eutelsat and Intelsat, used by European armies. These satellites are conducting RPO operations, approaching within 5 km and remaining close for weeks or months, allowing them to intercept communications. Although they do not have the ability to destroy satellites, they can cause interference or alter their orbit.
