Middle East Conflict: Map Reveals Areas Hit in Iran, Israel, and Beyond

The conflict in the Middle East is in its 17th day, with a exchange of missile strikes between the US – Israel and Iran. Unlike previous conflicts, the current one has spread to at least twelve countries, closed the Strait of Hormuz, and caused the deaths of more than 2,300 people. According to Al Jazeera and ACLED, nearly 2,000 events have been recorded in 29 of Iran's 31 provinces, with Tehran receiving the most intense bombardment. US and Israeli attacks primarily target Iran's missile infrastructure, nuclear and military facilities, as well as energy facilities and hospitals. Conversely, Iran's counterattacks have targeted facilities throughout Israel, oil refineries, US military bases, and ships in the Gulf. Iran has threatened to target American and multinational companies in the region, while Israel has attacked southern Lebanon, causing the displacement of about one million people.
