Shots Fired at Homes of Businessman's Family in Ayia Napa

Police are investigating a shooting incident targeting two homes in Ayia Napa, in the province of Famagusta. The shooting occurred around 2 a.m. today, targeting the residences of a 67-year-old and a 60-year-old, located on the same street. Initial investigations indicate that three shots were fired at the first house, while four were fired at the second, using a firearm. The shots caused damage to the masonry of both houses. Police have launched an investigation to determine the motive behind the attack and identify the perpetrators. The Famagusta Crime Investigation Department (CID) has taken over further investigation of the case. Currently, there is no information regarding injuries or casualties from the shooting. Police are examining all possible angles, including the possibility of involvement in criminal activities or personal disputes.
