President of Cyprus: Cyprus Will Remain a Pillar of Security in the Region

The President of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, assured that Cyprus will continue to play a role as a pillar of security and stability in the Eastern Mediterranean and the Middle East. He stated this during his speech at the event honoring former Greek President Prokopis Pavlopoulos as an Honorary Citizen of Lefkara. He expressed the gratitude of the Cypriot people to Greece for the immediate assistance it provided and emphasized the need for greater EU involvement in the region, with a holistic approach to strengthen security and cooperation.
