President Announces Cooperation Projects within Mediterranean Pact at April Informal Council

The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, announced that the first concrete cooperation projects within the Mediterranean Pact will be presented at the Informal European Council to be held in Cyprus in April. Cyprus, exercising its Presidency of the Council of the EU, will strengthen the EU's relations with countries in the Middle East, leveraging its geographical location, political credibility and knowledge of the region. The President emphasized that the country will play an active and responsible role in promoting such initiatives, with the aim of stability, security and cooperation in the region.
