Cyprus Leads the EU: 90% of Citizens Want a Stronger Role for Europe in Global Crises (table)

A recent survey shows that Cyprus is in first place in the European Union in terms of support for a stronger role for the EU in addressing global crises. Remarkably, 90% of Cypriots believe that the EU should play a more significant role in protecting citizens. Luxembourg (83%) and Malta (81%) follow. Greece ranks 8th with 78%, while Spain and Italy are at 79% and 67% respectively. The countries with the lowest support are Poland and the Czech Republic with 45% and 44% respectively. The survey highlights the growing need for enhanced European cooperation in addressing global challenges.
