Low-pressure system approaching Cyprus from Greece

A weak low-pressure system is affecting Cyprus, while a low-pressure system centered over Greece is expected to affect the island from tonight. Dust will be observed intermittently until tomorrow morning. The forecast predicts increased cloud cover, local rains and the possibility of thunderstorms, mainly in the western and northern half of the island. Snow or sleet is likely in the Troodos Mountains. Winds will blow from various directions, gradually strengthening, while the sea will be slightly rough to rough. The temperature will rise to 20 degrees Celsius inland and on the coast, and to 9 degrees in the mountains. Local rains and thunderstorms are expected on Wednesday, with a very strong westerly air current, while Thursday and Friday will see intermittent locally increased cloud cover.
