33-Year-Old Referred to Direct Trial for Attempted Murder in Tersefanou

A 33-year-old man has been referred to direct trial for attempted murder that took place in Tersefanou on January 18th. The accused faces ten charges, including attempted murder, causing grievous bodily harm, and burglary. According to the complaint, the 33-year-old entered the 46-year-old's apartment, where he was with the 40-year-old, and attacked him with an axe, causing severe injuries, including amputations to his hands and wounds to his head and back. The victim is hospitalized at the General Hospital of Nicosia. Police are investigating the case in cooperation with the Kition Police Station.
