Παραμένουν στην Κύπρο για όσο διάστημα χρειαστεί οι ελληνικές δυνάμεις που βρίσκονται στην περιοχή λόγω του πολέμου στη Μέση Ανατολή.
Σύμφωνα με ελλαδικά ΜΜΕ ήδη τα τέσσερα μαχητικά F-16 που είχαν έρθει πριν από τρεις εβδομάδες από τη Σούδα στην Κύπρο, αντικαταστάθηκαν από F-16 από τον Άραξο και από την Λάρισα.
Σημειώνουν πως μέσα στην επόμενη εβδομάδα, οι φρεγάτες «Κίμων» και «Ψαρά» αναμένεται να αντικατασταθούν από άλλα πολεμικά πλοία της Ελλάδας.
Πρόθεση της Αθήνας είναι να κρατήσει τις δυνάμεις στην Κύπρο, σύμφωνα με τα όσα υπογράμμισε ο Υπουργός Εθνικής Άμυνας της Ελλάδας, Νίκος Δένδιας.

Greek Forces Remain in Cyprus - 'Kimon' and 'Psara' Replacement
