Rainfall Boosts Cyprus Dam Levels, But Concerns Remain for Summer

Water inflows into Cyprus' dams have increased significantly in February, improving the situation compared to last year. Overall, inflows since December amount to 45,115 million cubic meters, more than double the amount of last year. February was particularly positive, with inflows almost ten times higher than in 2025. However, the situation remains fragile, with reserves low in some dams, and officials warn of the possibility of water cuts if a sustainable solution is not found.
