The website expresses concern about potential pressure that may be exerted on Turkey through its participation in new international frameworks promoted by Washington. According to the report, the invitation to Turkish President Erdogan and President Christodoulides to participate in the Gaza Peace Council constitutes an “unexpected diplomatic advantage” for Cyprus. Turkey, despite initial difficulties in its inclusion, was eventually included in the Gaza administrative board, while Erdogan was invited to the Peace Council. The Turkish website argues that Washington, despite initially disregarding Israel's objections to Turkey's role in Gaza, appears to have found a way to indirectly pressure Turkey through Cyprus. It is considered that Cyprus's participation in these talks could be used as leverage on the Cyprus issue.
