Anastasiades Made the Most Serious Statement

Many different things were said at the DISY leadership breakfast in the presence of Averof Neofytou and Anastasiades by the party's MPs. Everyone was there except Syka, Mavridis and Hatzigiannis. However, the most serious statement - however strange it may seem - was made by Anastasiades. Commenting on what everyone was saying, that Parliament is in danger of being filled with fools, caricatures and unserious people, he took the floor and, after agreeing with this danger, pointed out that DISY must send the message that it is talking to the serious people in Parliament, such as AKEL. We disagree with AKEL but it is a serious party, so we must behave accordingly and show mutual respect.
