Roadmap for Teleworking Implementation in Cyprus Public Sector from April 1st

Teleworking will be implemented in the Cyprus public sector from April 1st, initially for 20 days, with plans to increase the number of days to 50 from the following year. Employees will be able to work from their homes with the approval of their supervisor, provided that the smooth execution of their duties is ensured. A suitable workspace at home is required, with adequate lighting, an ergonomic chair, and isolation for concentration and document security. The Department of Public Administration and Personnel has issued a handbook with instructions for implementing teleworking, including the application process and data security measures. The process includes suitability checks, expression of interest, computer provision, and access to necessary systems.
