Comprehensive Guide to Addressing School Violence to be Distributed to Schools

The Ministry of Education has completed a Guide to Addressing School Violence, which includes all current policies, circulars, and protocols for preventing and managing in-school violence and delinquency. The guide will be sent to all schools shortly. Schools have already been informed and are asked to contact their School Boards or the Ministry's Warehouse to receive the guide. In addition, they should inform the members of the Committee on Health Education and Prevention of School Violence and utilize it in preventing and managing incidents of violence. An accompanying poster with support phone lines for children, adolescents, and adults facing violence, neglect, addictions, or other difficulties has also been issued. The poster has already been sent to primary and secondary schools. The phone lines include the European Helpline for Children and Adolescents (116111), the European Hotline for Missing Children (116000), lines for drug issues, human trafficking, cyberbullying, domestic violence, addictions, and others.
