Israel's Psychological Warfare Against Iranian Military

Israel is conducting a psychological warfare campaign against Iran, targeting Iranian security forces with threatening phone calls, in addition to military attacks. The goal is to undermine their morale and create conditions for an uprising against the Tehran regime. According to the Wall Street Journal, Mossad agents threaten Iranian officials, informing them they are on a 'blacklist' and that all their information is known. They urge them to support the people or not obstruct a potential uprising, threatening them with a similar fate to their leaders. An Iranian commander reportedly responded to a Mossad agent, stating he was a 'finished man' and asked for help. This campaign is combined with attacks on low-ranking officials, as part of a division of roles between the US and Israel, where the US targets Iran's military and industrial power, while Israel focuses on internal control structures. Israeli attacks have targeted command centers, stadiums used as gathering points for security forces, and checkpoints and roadblocks of the Basij paramilitary force, often using drones. Many of these attacks are said to have been guided by information provided by Iranian citizens. Furthermore, Israel has struck police warehouses, destroying equipment and vehicles. This campaign aims to destabilize the regime and undermine its ability to suppress protests and maintain order.
