New Wave of Bad Weather Approaching Greece from Tomorrow

The National Weather Service warns of a new wave of bad weather sweeping across the country from tomorrow, Tuesday. The weather will be partly cloudy with local showers, which will become more intense in the evening and be accompanied by thunderstorms. Snow or sleet is expected in the higher mountains. Today, Monday, the weather will be partly cloudy with weak to moderate northeasterly winds, which will be locally strengthened. The temperature will reach 17 degrees Celsius inland, 19 on the coasts and 10 in the mountains. In the evening, the winds will turn northwesterly and continue to blow with the same intensity. Tonight, local increased cloud cover and isolated showers are expected in the west and north. The temperature will drop to 7 degrees Celsius inland, around 10 on the south and east coasts, around 12 on the west and north coasts and 2 degrees in the mountains, where there is a risk of frost. The temperature will fall slightly until Wednesday, to fluctuate near the average climatic values, while on Thursday no significant change is expected. The height of the snow at the Ski Resort was 17 centimeters at the time of the bulletin.
