New Era for Pelvic Restoration in Cyprus – American Medical Center Implements EnPlace Method

The American Medical Center in Cyprus has become the first medical center in Europe to implement the EnPlace method for the treatment of pelvic organ prolapse. The method, performed by Dr. Andri Kakkoura, is minimally invasive, does not require abdominal incisions or the use of mesh, and offers a modern therapeutic option with respect for the body's physiology. Prolapse affects many women, especially after menopause or childbirth, and the EnPlace method allows for the placement of special anchors on the pelvic ligaments to stabilize the uterus. The procedure is short, with a quick recovery and high success rates. The method is indicated for postmenopausal women with atrophic uterus and significant prolapse, as well as in cases of recurrence after previous surgeries.
