Mitsotakis: We Would Support Cyprus Alone - We Are Proud

Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, in an interview with iefimerida.gr, categorically rejected any discussion of early elections, emphasizing the need for political stability and the government's ability to make quick decisions. He also expressed his view that he will not proceed with a government reshuffle, as the current cabinet is functioning satisfactorily. Referring to developments in the war in Iran, he stressed readiness for all eventualities and the potential impact on the Greek economy in the event of a prolonged conflict. He underlined that the government is considering additional support measures, while reiterating the immediate priority given to national security and support for Cyprus. He emphasized that Greece would support Cyprus even alone, and expressed his satisfaction with the effectiveness of the Armed Forces. He sought to highlight the government's rapid response to the crisis, in contrast to what would happen in a coalition government.
