Mitsotakis: "We Will Be There for Cyprus Whenever Needed"

Greek Prime Minister Kyriakos Mitsotakis, during his visit to Cyprus and aboard the frigate "Kimon" with President Christodoulides, assured that Greece will stand by the Republic of Cyprus "whenever needed". He expressed his satisfaction with the operational readiness of the Greek Navy, emphasizing that the ships sailed within 5 hours of the order. Mr. Mitsotakis stressed that Greece "did its duty to protect Cyprus in this difficult time" and thanked the crews of the two frigates for their prompt response to the mission. He highlighted the importance of Greece's presence in Cyprus, stating that "always know that we are here for whatever you need". President Christodoulides thanked the Prime Minister for his presence, saying that "with the initiative of the Greek Prime Minister and your presence in Cyprus, you are making history". He expressed the gratitude of the Cypriot people and the official state for Greek support in protecting the Republic of Cyprus.
