Cyprus Cabinet 'Moves' to Brussels to Face EU Committee Scrutiny

The Cyprus Cabinet of Ministers is relocating to Brussels to present the priorities of the Cypriot Presidency of the Council of the European Union to the relevant European Parliament committees. This follows the presentation of the overall priorities by the President of the Republic to the plenary session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg. Ministers will participate in exchanges of views with the committees, covering a wide range of issues such as women's rights, defense, the internal market, justice, fisheries, transport, tourism, culture, education, development, and legal affairs. The Deputy Minister for European Affairs, Marilena Raouna, will preside over the Council of General Affairs of the European Union.
