Οι Φρουροί της Επανάστασης του Ιράν ανακοίνωσαν ότι τα λιμάνια, οι αποβάθρες και οι στρατιωτικές εγκαταστάσεις στα Ηνωμένα Αραβικά Εμιράτα αποτελούν νόμιμους στόχους μετά από τους αμερικανικούς βομβαρδισμούς στο νησί Χαργκ.
«Οι Φρουροί της Επανάστασης θεωρούν ότι είναι νόμιμο δικαίωμά τους να υπερασπίζονται την εθνική κυριαρχία και το έδαφός τους πλήττοντας και στοχεύοντας την προέλευση των αμερικανικών εχθρικών πυραύλων σε λιμάνια, αποβάθρες και κρησφύγετα Αμερικανών στρατιωτών που έχουν καταφύγει σε ορισμένες πόλεις των ΗΑΕ», ανέφεραν σε ανακοίνωσή τους που μεταδόθηκε από το ημιεπίσημο πρακτορείο ειδήσεων Tasnim του Ιράν.
Στην ίδια ανακοίνωση προέτρεψαν τους πολίτες των ΗΑΕ να εκκενώσουν λιμάνια, αποβάθρες και στρατιωτικές περιοχές των ΗΠΑ προκειμένου να αποφευχθούν απώλειες μεταξύ των αμάχων.
Αξίζει να σημειωθεί ότι νωρίτερα σήμερα, το Bloomberg News ανέφερε ότι έγινε μερική αναστολή της φόρτωσης πετρελαίου στο λιμάνι Φουτζάιρα των Ηνωμένων Αραβικών Εμιράτων, έξω από τα Στενά του Ορμούζ, μετά από την επίθεση drone και την πυρκαγιά που ξέσπασε ακολούθως στο σημείο.
