AEL spokesperson, Nikola Leventis, spoke on “SPOR FM 95.0” about the team's recent transfer moves, performance and the meeting of the club presidents with the KOP (Cyprus Football Association). The completion of four transfers was announced, with Mig being the latest addition, a 22-year-old player with development potential. Leventis also referred to the cases of Ouendragogo and Ferrier, noting that there is no new offer for Ouendragogo, while Ferrier has been granted permission to discuss an offer from Korea and leave if he agrees. He expressed the team's disappointment with the performance in the last game against Anorthosis and stressed the need for improvement in the next matches against Aris and Omonia. Regarding the competitive data, Frantzis and Luka Bogdan will be out of the squad for the match against Aris due to suspension. The meeting of the presidents with the KOP concerned the inconsistency of the decisions of the sports judge, with AEL providing documents proving the problem and finding support from other clubs. Leventis expressed the view that the arrival of foreign referees should have happened earlier, but would be useful in the crucial matches towards the end of the championship. Finally, he confirmed that Conceicao has a contract with the team until 2027.
