Οι σειρήνες ήχησαν ξανά μετά από τέσσερις μέρες ηρεμίας στην περιοχή. Τα τελευταία μηνύματα που έλαβαν στα κινητά τους τηλέφωνα οι κάτοικοι του Ακρωτηρίου ήταν την περασμένη Δευτέρα το πρωί.
Οι Βρετανικές Βάσεις ενημέρωσαν με το ακόλουθο μήνυμα:

Υπάρχει σε εξέλιξη απειλή ασφάλειας.
Παρακαλείστε να παραμείνετε εντός των οικιών σας και να παραμείνετε στη θέση σας μέχρι νεότερης επίσημης ενημέρωσης.
Απομακρυνθείτε από τα παράθυρα και καλυφθείτε πίσω ή κάτω από ανθεκτικά, συμπαγή έπιπλα.
