KOAG: Report of Actions and Strategic Path

The Cyprus Land Development Organization (KOAG) presented its report of actions and projects, emphasizing the strengthening of its role in implementing the new integrated Housing Policy of the State. The Organization has transformed from its traditional role in the construction of houses for sale to a key executive and administrative arm of the state housing policy. KOAG operates on the pillars of the Housing Scheme for Moderate Income Earners, the Affordable Rent Scheme, and the management of state housing schemes. It has implemented and planned projects on a pan-Cypriot basis, such as the Ianthi Project in Larnaca and projects in Kokkinotrimithia, Polemidia, Lakatamia, Agios Domettios, Kaimakli and Pallouriotissa. Within the framework of the Affordable Rent Scheme, developments are being implemented in Limassol and Strovolos with significant state funding of €28 million. KOAG has also taken on a new management role in state housing schemes, such as the “Renovate – Rent” scheme and the Special Housing Incentive. The Organization has undergone digital transformation, with the launch of a new website and the complete digitization of its services. The President of the KOAG Board of Directors, Elena Kousiou-Hatzidimitriou, stated that the Organization is working systematically to meet the increased housing needs of society.
