Discontent Among Doctors at Larnaca Hospital, Resignations Considered

A climate of discontent has been identified among the doctors at the General Hospital of Larnaca, with some considering resignation and a move to the private sector. This emerged after an inspection by the OCYPY at the hospital, following complaints about the situation. The doctors feel offended by the lack of investigation into the complaints and the publication of incidents without prior examination. OCYPY Spokesman Charalambos Charilaou stressed the need for a code of ethics between the OCYPY and the media, so that complaints are investigated before being made public. At the same time, it was mentioned that thousands of procedures are performed daily in public hospitals and it is natural for there to be complaints.
