Life Sentenced Murder Suspects Also Charged with Mammoth Robbery in Larnaca

Four individuals serving life sentences for the murder of Dimitris Andronikou, also known as “Dimitroui,” are now also charged with a large-scale robbery that took place in Larnaca two months before the murder. The case was investigated by the Larnaca TAE, which filed criminal charges against the four individuals of Arab origin, as well as a fifth individual, also of Arab origin. The robbery occurred on February 19, 2024, at the home of a Lebanese businessman. Four hooded individuals broke into the house, locked the businessman's wife and two housekeepers in a bedroom with the threat of garden shears, and stole jewelry, watches, and money from a safe, with the total loot amounting to 188,000 euros. The involvement of the accused had emerged during the investigation into the Andronikou murder, but the robbery case was treated separately, so that the investigation into the murder could be completed first. The accused, aged 41, 42, 29, and 27, will appear before the Larnaca Permanent Criminal Court on April 2.
