Passenger Plane Missing in Indonesia, Search and Rescue Operations Underway

Indonesian authorities are conducting searches for a passenger plane with 11 people on board that went missing from radar while flying over eastern Indonesia. The aircraft, belonging to Indonesia Air Transport, had departed from Yogyakarta bound for Makassar. Contact with the plane was lost shortly after 1 PM local time, while flying over a mountainous area in the Maros region. Authorities have deployed search and rescue teams to the area, including the air force, police, and volunteers. A helicopter and drones have been sent to the area to locate the aircraft. The last recorded position of the plane was in the mountainous zone of Maros, approximately 42 kilometers from Makassar. The search is ongoing, and authorities are trying to determine the cause of the plane's disappearance and locate the passengers and crew.
