France Proposes NATO Exercise in Greenland Amid Trump Pressure

France has proposed holding a NATO exercise in Greenland and expressed its readiness to contribute to it. This proposal comes amid increasing pressure from US President Donald Trump, who wants to acquire the autonomous territory of Denmark. France and other European countries have already sent military personnel to Greenland for reconnaissance missions, but Trump has threatened new tariffs. France believes that a NATO exercise would allow US participation and underscore the importance of security in the Arctic.
