ASTEPAHK Disagrees with Two-Hour Strike at EAC

The Independent Trade Union of Technical and Labor Staff of the Electricity Authority of Cyprus (ASTEPAHK) expressed its disagreement with the decision of other unions to hold a two-hour strike, regarding the involvement of the EAC in the energy sector. ASTEPARK believes that the dialogue on the issue is ongoing and has not been exhausted, and that the strike gives a false impression that employees do not want to discuss a solution. It points out that the strike could harm consumers and the economy. ASTEPARK is in favor of continuing the dialogue with all stakeholders, with the aim of finding the best possible solution for the EAC and society.
