Police Raids in Nicosia and Famagusta Lead to 30 Illegal Immigrant Arrests

Coordinated operations by the Aliens and Immigration Service and the Green Line and Migration Flow Monitoring Sub-Directorate were carried out today in Nicosia and Famagusta. During the operations, a total of 30 illegal foreign nationals from third countries were arrested. 17 individuals were arrested in the province of Nicosia, while 13 were arrested in the province of Famagusta. All the detainees were transferred to the Menoyia Detention Center (CHOKAM) for further procedures regarding their repatriation to their countries of origin. No further information was provided regarding their nationality or the circumstances of their stay in Cyprus.
