Middle East Flare-Up Affects Cyprus: Flights Cancelled

The flare-up in the Middle East is also affecting Cyprus, with flights to and from Cypriot airports being cancelled following the commencement of operations by the US and Israel against Iran. So far, 250 passengers have been affected by the cancellations. In Larnaca, all flights to and from Israel have been cancelled, while in Paphos flights from Air Haifa and Ryanair to Amman have been cancelled. A Wizz Air flight from Larnaca to Tel Aviv returned to Cyprus. Arrival and departure flights from Larnaca have been cancelled, including Wizz Air flights to Abu Dhabi and SunDor to Tel Aviv. Flights from Tus Air to and from Israel have also been cancelled. In Paphos, Air Haifa flights were cancelled. Two Wizz Air flights (Budapest – Amman and Sofia – Tel Aviv) were diverted to Larnaca Airport, where passengers disembarked. Airlines are urging passengers to contact them before traveling to the airport.
