Larnaca Incidents: Evidence from Mobile Phones 'Incriminates' Criminal Organization

The Larnaca police carried out an operation last night resulting in the arrest of 7 individuals in two separate organized crime cases. The first case involves two businessmen, aged 48 and 43, accused of interfering with a police investigation into a brawl outside the Larnaca police headquarters. According to police, the businessmen met with the complainant and attempted to convince him they were not involved with the perpetrator. The second case concerns a 23-year-old suspect in an attempted murder case, leading to four additional arrests, indicating the existence of a criminal organization operating in the area. Vehicles, bulletproof vests, weapons, and cash were seized during the searches. All suspects are in custody, with the court's decision on their detention expected on Monday.
