Saint's Day: Who Celebrates Today, March 26th

Today, March 26th, the Church commemorates Saint Pulius the Reader and the Holy Martyrs of Gothia. These saints were martyred in the 4th century, being thrown into the fire by the Gothic king and the Emperor Gratian. During the martyrdom, a Christian bringing an offering to the Church joined them in the fire, confessing his faith in Christ. The relics of the martyrs were collected by a Christian woman and transported to Cyzicus, where a portion was given to the city. Their martyrdom marked a period of religious persecution and faith.
