Αντιπροσωπεία του ΠΑΣΥΞΕ Πάφου επισκέφθηκε τον ΕΟΑ Πάφου, όπου έγινε δεκτή από τον Πρόεδρο του Οργανισμού, Χαράλαμπο Πιττοκοπίτη και τον Γενικό Διευθυντή, Νικόλα Πάπαλο.
Κατά τη διάρκεια της συνάντησης, ο κ. Πιττοκοπίτης ενημέρωσε την αντιπροσωπεία των ξενοδόχων σχετικά με την απόφαση του Υπουργικού Συμβουλίου που αφορά στα μέτρα εξοικονόμησης νερού, τα οποία καλούνται να εφαρμόσουν οι ξενοδοχειακές μονάδες, με στόχο την επίτευξη των στόχων που έχει θέσει το Υπουργείο.
Από την πλευρά τους, οι εκπρόσωποι του Συνδέσμου εξέφρασαν την προθυμία τους να συμβάλουν ενεργά στην υλοποίηση των μέτρων, αναγνωρίζοντας τη σημασία της ορθολογικής διαχείρισης του νερού ως πολύτιμου φυσικού πόρου. Παράλληλα, εκφράστηκε η κοινή βούληση για ενίσχυση της συνεργασίας μεταξύ των δύο πλευρών, με σκοπό την επίτευξη κοινών στόχων.
Η συνάντηση πραγματοποιήθηκε σε ιδιαίτερα εποικοδομητικό κλίμα, επιβεβαιώνοντας τη σημασία της στενής συνεργασίας μεταξύ των αρμόδιων φορέων, τόνισε ο κ. Πιττοκοπίτης.
EOA and PASYXE Paphos Discuss Water Issues and Provincial Concerns
A delegation from PASYXE Paphos visited the EOA Paphos, where they were received by the President and General Director of the Organization to discuss water supply issues and other concerns affecting the province. The President of the EOA informed the hoteliers about the water conservation measures decided by the Council of Ministers and the need for their implementation by hotel units. The PASYXE representatives expressed their willingness to contribute to the implementation of the measures, recognizing the importance of rational water management. The meeting took place in a constructive atmosphere, with an emphasis on strengthening cooperation between the two sides to achieve common goals. The discussion focused on the need for effective water resource management, given the increasing demand and the impacts of climate change. Both sides agreed on the need for coordinated action to address the challenges in the water supply sector in Paphos.
