Olguin Expresses Hope for Progress on Confidence-Building Measures at Trilateral

The Personal Envoy of the UN Secretary-General, Maria Angela Holguin, expressed hope for progress on the issue of Confidence-Building Measures (CBMs) during tomorrow's trilateral meeting. Following a meeting with the T/C leader, Tufan Erhürman, she stated that the meeting was good and that preparations had been made for the trilateral. Holguin described the trilateral as a substantive meeting where the concerns of both sides regarding the resumption of talks would be discussed. She reiterated her expectation for progress on CBMs during the meeting.
