Greece: Tragedy as Seven-Day-Old Infant Dies of Cardiac Arrest

A tragedy unfolded in Kallithea, Greece, as a seven-day-old baby girl died of cardiac arrest. The infant, who was born prematurely and had a twin sibling, was found unresponsive by her father and aunt on Wednesday morning. She was rushed to the Agia Sophia Children's Hospital, where doctors made desperate efforts for 40 minutes, but were unable to save her life. A flu test was conducted and came back negative, ruling out a flu complication as the cause of death. Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding the infant's death.
