Greek Cypriot Released on Bail from 'Court' After Being Arrested in Occupied Territories for Collecting Wild Greens

A Greek Cypriot who was illegally detained in the occupied territories after being arrested while collecting wild greens has been released on bail from the 'district court' in occupied Nicosia. He was arrested on February 10th near Gerolakkos. He was initially charged with 'illegal possession of explosives' due to the discovery of 16 hunting cartridges in his vehicle, for which he signed a bail of 1 million Turkish lira. However, a new charge for violating a 'military prohibited zone' is pending, and will be heard in a 'military court' on February 19th.
