France Rejects Cyprus's Extradition Request for Iranian Businessman

The French Supreme Court has rejected the appeal for the extradition of an Iranian businessman to Cyprus, who is accused of land grabbing in the occupied territories. According to a statement from the pseudo-state, this decision is a blow to the Republic of Cyprus's attempts to use the European Arrest Warrant for political purposes. The pseudo-state argues that the decision recognizes the “Immovable Property Commission” as a legitimate means of resolving property disputes and that Cyprus is trying to intimidate Turkish Cypriots. The Turkish Cypriot contractors association expressed its satisfaction with the decision.
