A second burglary incident occurred this weekend in the free province of Famagusta, this time in Paralimni. According to initial reports, unknown individuals broke into a residence and stole a significant amount of money, estimated at €100,000. The burglary reportedly took place between January 17th and 18th, 2026. Police are conducting a thorough investigation to locate and arrest the perpetrator(s). This incident follows a similar burglary in Ayia Napa, where perpetrators broke into a jewelry store and made off with loot worth €200,000. The close timing of the two incidents raises questions about a possible connection between the perpetrators.
