The President of the Republic, Nikos Christodoulides, held an open dialogue with secondary school students in Larnaca, answering questions regarding the Cyprus issue, developments in the Middle East, Cyprus' accession to the European Union, and unemployment. The event, titled “Cyprus at the Helm of Europe: Young People Participate – Democracy Leads,” was organized within the framework of the European program “School Ambassador of the European Parliament” and on the occasion of Cyprus’ assumption of the Presidency of the Council of the European Union.
