President of Cyprus Will Not Attend Peace Council Signing; Supports Trump's Efforts

The President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, will not attend the signing of the accession act to the Peace Council in Davos due to other commitments. Foreign Minister Konstantinos Kombos stated that Cyprus supports the initiatives of Donald Trump for the peace process in Gaza and any effort to resolve disputes within the framework of international law. The Republic of Cyprus was part of a closed group of invitees and expresses warm thanks for the invitation. However, there are still issues regarding the operation of the Council that need clarification.
