A flower shop in Polemidia was targeted in a bombing early this morning, causing extensive damage to the storefront and parked vehicles. Police are investigating the incident, reviewing CCTV footage to identify the two suspects who fled on a motorcycle. The flower shop owner stated she has no knowledge of any disputes or threats, however, investigations are being extended to close relatives. The explosive device was homemade and of low intensity, according to authorities. The head of the Limassol TAE, Kostas Michail, stated that there is evidence from security cameras, but avoided giving further details to avoid affecting the investigation. This attack is the second bombing in Limassol in a few days, causing concern. Mr. Michail emphasized that the Limassol Police have successfully solved important cases in the past and that the present case is progressing well. Simultaneously, it was announced that two suspects have been arrested in connection with a previous bombing against a restaurant owned by a Russian businessman, who will be brought before a court. The police are conducting intensive investigations to determine the motives of the attack on the flower shop and to identify the perpetrators.
