Rain, Storms, Hail and Snow on Saturday: Temperature Drop – Low Pressure to Affect the Island

From Saturday, Cyprus is expected to be affected by low pressure moving north from Egypt, bringing rain, storms, hail and snow in the higher mountains. The temperature will drop significantly, especially on Saturday, and will be below seasonal values. Until Sunday, the atmosphere will be filled with dust, with increased concentrations at intervals. Tonight, the weather will be mainly clear with northwesterly winds light to moderate. The sea will be calm in the west and slightly rough on the other coasts. Tomorrow, the weather will initially be clear, but clouds will gradually increase, with the possibility of isolated showers in the mountains and southwest of Troodos. The winds will be northeasterly, light to moderate, while the temperature will rise to 21 degrees. On Saturday, the weather will be mainly cloudy with local showers and possible storms, with the possibility of hail. On Sunday, the weather will improve partially, but isolated showers may occur in the west and mountains.
