The evacuation caused disruption, with helicopters flying over the area and strong fire crews rushing to the scene. Initially, the situation was described as an emergency, as smoke from the fire caused coughing among several participants. Reporters in Davos reported the presence of helicopters and firefighters, as well as the removal of people from the conference center. The fire department later announced that the fire was fully under control and the alarm was contained.
