Cyprus: November Petroleum Sales Increase by 5.6%

Total petroleum sales in Cyprus increased by 5.6% in November 2025, reaching 119,953 tons. This increase was primarily driven by supplies of oil to ships and airplanes, as well as sales of asphalt, gas oil, and gasoline. Conversely, sales of light and heavy fuel oil, kerosene, heating oil, and liquefied petroleum gas decreased. Sales from petroleum stations decreased by 5.0% to 55,670 tons. On a monthly basis, total petroleum sales decreased by 15.3% compared to October 2025, due to reduced supplies to airplanes and sales of gasoline and gas oil. Despite the monthly decrease, total petroleum stocks at the end of November increased by 3.3% compared to the previous month. Regarding the period January – November 2025, total petroleum sales increased by 4.8% compared to the corresponding period of the previous year. This indicates a general trend of increasing demand for petroleum products in Cyprus during the year.
