Foot-and-Mouth Disease: Three New Cases Detected in Three Farms

In Cyprus, the total number of livestock farms with confirmed cases of foot-and-mouth disease amounts to 37, excluding one illegal cattle farm in Livadia. Three new cases were detected on Monday afternoon in Dromolaxia, within the 3-kilometer zone, which is considered expected given the epidemiological evolution of the disease in the area. The new cases involve one cattle farm and two goat and sheep farms. Authorities continue to monitor the situation and take measures to limit the spread of the disease.
