Electronic Device Recalled from the Cypriot Market

A manufacturer of electronic devices has voluntarily recalled a solar network inverter from the Cypriot market as it does not meet the essential requirements of the Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive. The inverter is branded AZZURRO ZCS, model AZZURRO 1PH 3000TL-V3, manufactured in China, and distributed by Conercon Energy Solutions Ltd. The Department of Electromechanical Services recommends replacing the product, with the distributor responsible for the recall process. According to the Consumer Protection Law of 2021, consumers who have purchased the product are entitled to free repair or replacement. If repair or replacement is not feasible, they have the right to withdraw from the contract and receive a refund. These rights are valid for a period of 2 years from the initial delivery of the product to the consumer, with the final seller bearing the ultimate responsibility. If the seller refuses to comply, consumers are advised to submit a written complaint to the Consumer Protection Service. The Department of Electromechanical Services requests anyone with knowledge of sales locations for the product or requiring further information to contact them.
