Navalny Poisoned with Poison from Ecuadorian Frog, Moscow in the Spotlight

A joint investigation by five countries (Britain, Netherlands, Germany, Sweden, and France) revealed that Russian opposition leader Alexei Navalny was poisoned with a highly potent neurotoxin, epibatidine, derived from the poisonous Ecuadorian dart frog. This toxin, 200 times stronger than morphine, is classified as a chemical weapon. Investigators concluded that the poisoning could only have been carried out by the Vladimir Putin government, which had the means, motive, and opportunity to use this toxin against Navalny in prison. Navalny's wife, Yulia, expressed her grief over her husband's death, emphasizing that scientific evidence confirms it is not just words. The governments of the countries involved in the investigation intend to inform the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons and to put pressure on Russia. The Kremlin has not yet responded to the allegations.
