Years-Long Football Legend Impersonation Uncovered in Zakynthos After Man's Death

A man in Zakynthos deceived the local community for years by impersonating former Manchester United footballer, Remi Moses. The perpetrator, who had purchased a house on the island and worked as a coach for a local team, managed to convince many of his true identity due to his resemblance to the well-known athlete. The fraud was revealed after his death, when British media outlets announced Moses' passing, which was refuted by the actual footballer through his son. The man, whose real name was Kenneth Kaye, had successfully created a false image of himself, while his wife had dressed him in Manchester United clothing even in the coffin. The story caused surprise and discussion on the island, as Kaye had become an accepted member of the community.
