Twist in Argyrou Murder Case: Woman to Testify Against Ex-Partner

The 47-year-old Cypriot woman previously accused of aiding and abetting in the murder of 45-year-old Yiannis Argyrou will now testify as a prosecution witness against her 52-year-old ex-partner, who is charged with the brutal murder. The change of stance comes after she admitted to charges of possession and use of cocaine, and a review of evidence deemed insufficient to support the charge of complicity. The Attorney General ordered the suspension of the complicity charge, and the 47-year-old remains free under restrictive conditions, while the 52-year-old is in custody. According to the 47-year-old's testimony, the 52-year-old confessed to her twice that he killed Argyrou and showed her the murder weapon.
